Chrysippus

Chrysippus of Soli (c. 279–206 BC) was a pivotal Greek Stoic philosopher known as the “second founder of Stoicism” for formalizing its doctrines. As the third head of the Stoic school in Athens, he wrote over 700 works, primarily focusing on logic, ethics, and physics. He is equally famous for his bizarre death – reportedly from laughter after watching a donkey eat his figs.

Dionysus

Dionysus raising his chalice often represents his role as the god of wine, ritual madness, and ecstasy. Only in madness can you find meaning.

Apollo is the Greek god of light, music, prophecy, healing, and archery – symbolizing order, reason, youth, and artistic beauty.

Both Dionysus and Apollo encapsulate the symbolism in our quest for this venture – balancing the madness with the artistic side to bring House of Stefas to what it is today.

Boys of Millbrook:

Many see them but dont know them - they keep watch on Franklin Avenue, in rain, sleet, snow, or storms - no matter the weather, they are here. Similar to the braveness of the USPS, except they answer to no one. They are the heartbeat of Millbrook, unifying the town, bringing love, and keeping watch. They give character and to us, they gave us the love and motivation needed to push through construction.

are his famous words when we were talking about art, energy, and creativity as we layered in the next dimension of the House of Stefas concept. The food is important. The people are important. The art is very important to us, because it allows us to have color in life, and create feeling, and energy and so having the guidance and involvement of Wing was instrumental in being able to piece together the million piece puzzle.

Wing was casually in one day, pre-construction, and was given a few notes on bringing a dimensional art concept to house of stefas - and with that, years of creativity and building, he developed an idea he presented and we worked on that hasn’t been done before…to be released, maybe. https://www.wingscastle.com/
